EMA to host biodiversity exhibit at Matura

There will be an exhibition at the Matura National Park as well as hikes to the Rio Seco and Rampanalgas Waterfalls, and cultural entertainment on the three days.

Organisations taking part include the Forestry Division, the Matura to Matelot Network (M2M), Council of Presidents of the Environment (COPE), the Tourism Development Company Ltd, and the Ministry of Public Utilities and the Environment.

Food, drink and crafts will be available at the exhibition.

Sports Minister Roger Boynes who is MP for the area will open the exhibition today at 10 am.

Minister for Public Utilities and the Environment, Penn-elope Beckles will address schoolchildren on Monday, on the occasion of World Biodiversity Day.

The exhibition opens daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
