Bissundyal joins cast of ‘Shabdakantir’

Among the actors are Hubert Ramlal, Balraj Harry, Sharda Jagidhar, Zalisa Boodhoosingh, Seeta Persad, Ajun Jagidhar, Sandra Sookeo and Jairaj Singh.

Bissundyal who is a history lecturer in the USA is on his second trip to TT. He made the trip once more to offer some of his Sanskrit poems for this Indian Arrival day event. The show will then be staged at the JFK auditorium, UWI on May 27 at 7.30 pm.

Shabdakantir is described as an efflorescence of writing, music, dance and theatre in the Caribbean. It was presented by Magic Words, produced by Trinidadian journalist Ariti Jankie and directed by Guyanese dramatist and television personality Andre Wiltshire.
