Focus On Central:
The Institute was founded in 1989 by Shoba Bedasie and was registered with the Ministry of Education in 1996. It is strategically located in the heart of the country to cater for a diverse population distribution whilst providing easy accessibility to students.
At ULEI the focus is on customer satisfaction. The organisation is committed to providing the highest quality teaching and training programmes which will aid students in reaching their full potential. It’s goals are to:
• provide quality educational experiences that help students achieve their educational and career goals and leave the Institute with core learning skills applicable over their lifetime.
• maintain and develop curricula within all educational, continuing education, and customised training programmes that prepare learners for success within a global marketplace and develop their commitment to lifelong learning through clear thinking, effective communication, accepting diversity, and ethical decision-making.
• maintain and develop internal and external partnerships that lead to the cooperative and coordinated delivery of unduplicated quality educational programmes and services and quality economic, cultural, and community development.
• continually improve services that help teachers teach and students succeed.
• leverage electronic education and services as core elements of institute functions in the pursuit of the Institute’s comprehensive mission.

2005 Approved by Ministry of Science Technology and Tertiary Education (STTE) Retraining Unit as a Training Provider for Graphic Design and Computer Repairs
2005 Approved Tertiary Level Institution with Ministry of Science Technology and Tertiary Education
