St Ann’s residents wait for Udecott

“We have a reasonable idea of what we want. The infrastructure at St Ann’s is firmly fixed. We thought we would sit down with a blank paper and talk about the enhancement of the grounds and work at the Prime Minister’s residence,” said Dr Assad Mohammed, head of the technical committee in an interview yesterday.

Prime Minister Patrick Manning met with residents last Wednesday in response to their complaint about the meetings with Udecott chairman Calder Hart.

Three meetings have taken place between February and April. After the meeting, Manning assured residents of more meaningful discussions and an agreement was reached for talks to continue between a technical team of residents and Udecott.
