Parasram tops ‘Mastana’

Another very talented singer, Ramroop Samlal took the second place while the Anissa Ali Dance Group took the third and Annie Dookie placed fourth.

The following contestants are due to appear in the tenth preliminary round of competition: Rena Sinanan, Mala Ramcharan, Palmyra Hindu School Group, Akaksh Carl, Teza Sampson, Kamala Budri, Jennifer Baksh Dance Group, Christine Khan, Riaz Mohammed, Country Boys Tassa Group, and Adrian Barran.

This programme will be taped tonight at the Gulf City Shopping Complex in La Romaine at 5.30 pm.

The National Flour Mills’ pick-a-pan jackpot is $2,150. The next audition for Mastana will take place on Sunday at the Shipwreck Entertainment Complex, Chin Chin Road, Cunupia. This will be free to the public and registration starts at 10 am.
