Cricket men win Cotton Tree Golf

The competition featured teams of two, with a guest player in tandem with a local golfer.

This time around, the top three finishers all had the same score of 44, but Broad and Imam, who were sponsored by Telemedia, were given the nod as they had the best result on the back-nine.

Christine Yhap and Richard Lara, who were sponsored by Petrotrin, took second place, ahead of Amar Distributors’ Rollins Amar and Dominic Chatoor.

Also participating were former Barbados and West Indies opening batsman Desmond Haynes (sponsored by Petrotrin), who took the prize for Nearest the Pin on the 11th hole (eight feet and nine inches).

Popular calypsonian David Rudder, who returned from Canada to participate in the day-long event, was voted as the Most Tired Male. Best dressed female prize went to Pauline Raynor.
