Five cars gone in seven hours

Police reported that at about 10 pm Thursday, Carol Thomas, of Macoya Gardens, in Tunapuna, parked her white Toyota and left the engine running while she opened the gate. When Thomas turned around, three bandits jumped into the car and drove off.

Earlier at 4.30 pm, Olo Tunzi, of Bellevue, La Horquetta, parked his wife’s Mazda at Trincity Mall. Tunzi returned two hours later and discovered that the vehicle was missing.

Meanwhile, two cars were stolen from Maracas, St Joseph between the hours of 3 pm and 10 pm.

And a man’s B-11 Nissan Sunny also was stolen at Hussein Street, in Tunapuna.

Police officers of the Tunapuna, Arouca, Maracas/St Joseph and St Joseph stations are continuing the investigations.
