Suspect held in magistrate’s robbery

The 28-year-old suspect was arrested at about 8.30 pm on Thursday at a house on Coconut Drive, Green Acres, Cross Crossing. Police said the suspect, who was hiding out at a relative’s house, will be placed on ID parades. The arrest was made by officers of the San Fernando CID and Operations Unit South. One person has already been charged with the incident, which occurred at about 2.45 am on February 7.

Cardenas-Ragoonanan was at her home with her husband, 15-year-old son and two elderly relatives when four gunmen stormed into the house and robbed them of $250,000 worth of jewelry and a quantity of sterling pounds and TT currency.
