Fifteen delegates paraded before the judges at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya on Monday.

The winners of the Miss India TnT titles, Sabrina Bissessarsingh and Anushke Dube both looked stunning in their gowns. Sabina wore a striking red gown while Anushke graced the stage in a semi-flared orange beaded gown.

While the men were spectacular in their kurtas and suits, the women created a stir with their Bollywood gowns on stage. The tall Lianna Sinanansingh appeared in a lilac coloured gown that fitted her slender shape. The design clearly carried a contemporary style with a sleeve only on the right hand and a frilly effect at the end of the gown.

Amy Beharrylal was first on stage with a soft pink gown with a single gold print pattern at the front. She wore matching churiya (bangles), necklace and earrings.

Nisha Maraj of St Helena wore a blue two-piece gown that was simple with silver lines running across. Nisha’s choice of necklace helped to enhance her overall beauty.

Young radio announcer (106 FM), Amrita Vishnu looked like one of the Bollywood movie stars in her orange-coloured gown. Her long, black hair played about her face as she modelled her gown to the sound of Indian music in the background.

Crystal Rooplal wore a stunning red gown that carried a flare cut from the knees. The gown was designed with tiny diamante beads to match her necklace and earrings. Popular belly dancer, Sherrie Nabbie wore a simple orange coloured gown that opened from the hips down to the floor. The girls were instrumental in assisting the designers who were chosen by the pageant coordinators in the construction of the gowns.
