I take this opportunity to congratulate him for his wise decision. I don’t know him, but I was really touched with his boldness, his wisdom and knowledge. I urge him to continue to stand firm for what is right. Permit me to state here at this time that I am not at all alarmed or surprised by the way the world is going at present, because when Jesus walked the earth, there were many who hated Him, many opposed Him and spoke lies about Him.

This would continue until He puts in His appearance and believe me this is sure. When Noah preached, many laughed at him and derided him, and when tribulation came upon them, it was too late. The Bible says that just as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the end time. Matthew 24:37-38. One thing is certain and that is that we are seeing events prophesied hundreds of years ago come to pass today. What the critics say or do cannot and I emphasise cannot change who God is nor His plan.

The followers of Jesus have to continue to have compassion on these people and tell them about the love of Jesus and the good news of the gospel whether they believe it or not. But the time will most certainly come when what we believe and what we do will determine our final destiny. May God continue to bless Trinidad and Tobago, part of His creation.
