Driver: I only wanted money

Antonio Nunes was giving evidence against Kevin Regis at the Port-of-Spain Fourth Criminal Court. Regis is charged with the April 28 murder of Anthony Jules. Both men were passengers in Nunes’ car on the day in question, when Regis allegedly shot Jules in the head. Under cross-examination by defence attorney Keith Scotland yesterday, Nunes said he felt uncomfortable when he saw Jules with the gun in his hand. However, he continued, he was more concerned with the $150 for which he was hired.

He said he was also afraid that if he said something they would shoot him.
