COUVA KIDS GO GREEN

Under the close supervision of principal Vidya Lalla-Ramsammy, the young palm trees were planted throughout the school’s compound.

The pupils of the school were beeming with pride and happiness when they began the exercise. The students were assisted by employees and members of the Point Lisas Garden Welfare Council Reforestation Department. The organisation’s spokesperson — Jeannette Redhead — said that the planting exercise was not only done to commemorate World Conservation Day but also as a means of beautifying the school’s compound.
