PriceSmart coming to Arima

When contacted yesterday, PriceSmart officials confirmed reports that a new branch would open in Arima next year. However they declined to say where it would be located or when construction of this new store would begin.

PriceSmart currently has two stores located in Chaguanas and Port-of-Spain respectively. Founded in 1976 in the United States, PriceSmart operates 11 branches in 23 countries (including Trinidad and Tobago) and today generates over US$70 billion in annual sales.

Other nations where PriceSmart currently operates include Honduras, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Barbados.
