League offers help on child abuse

The league urges adults, parents and young people to protect children from abuse by becoming knowledgeable and acquiring better parenting and child care skills.

The course will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 pm to 7 pm for nine weeks. The league said it will help participants to “develop your own personal effective parenting style; and grow in awareness of the signs of sexual abuse of children and how to protect your child from sexual assault.”
