TTMA praises Soca Warriors

The release stated: “Even though the result was not in our favour, the team has made us proud.”

It added that the Warriors have demonstrated to the world that we are not to be underestimated, and that it salutes the team for keeping the TT flag flying high.

The TTMA saw a more important role the team played than on the field was the way the Warriors have managed to unite the people of this country at a time when many had begun to lose hope.

“Trinidadians and Tobagonians everywhere have rallied around the Warriors, and now we look forward with bated breath to the outcome of their next match against Paraguay,” said the TTMA which is calling on all citizens to keep the fighting warrior spirit alive.
