TOBAGO SEATS IN THE BAG SAYS PNM

“It will come as it has always come, when it is due,” according to Party Vice-Chairman, John Donaldson, who was addressing a media briefing following yesterday’s annual PNM General Council Meeting held at the Mt Irvine Bay Hotel.

Donaldson said he remains confident of the party’s chances since a recent independent poll indicated that the party was “well on stream in respect of its determination to continue to provide Trinidad and Tobago with a government that adheres to the law of the land and in which integrity will be the basis of its judgment by the population.”

Donaldson also said that the Council was confident of retaining its two Tobago seats and saw no reason why its current trend should change.

The date of the PNM annual convention was set for October 14th and 15th.
