Work hard and believe

They have given us inspiration to reach for the stars, all you have to do is work hard and believe. I was deeply saddened by our 2-0 defeat on Thursday. I was even more saddened by see the spirit of many Trinbagonian supporters broken.

I proudly displayed my patriotism by painting my face in the glorious national colours — red, white and black. It really upset me when my fellow countrymen shouted, “Wipe yuh face gual, alyuh loss.” Even though that was being said, I felt no shame in leaving my country’s colours painted on my face, because I still believe!!! England has gotten the victory but they would not get our spirit.

Have we forgotten our motto “Small Country, Big Passion?” Let us make that spirit, that passion, stronger and show the world, especially England that they have not broken our patriotic spirit. Soca Warrior till the end.
