Thumbs up for Soca Warriors rewards

Voters were asked if they agreed with the Government’s tribute to the national football team which competed in the World Cup in Germany.

Voting at newsday.co.tt, 614 persons supported the payout of $1.25 million to captain Dwight Yorke, $1 million to the rest of the team and the award of the Chaconia gold medal to them. Only 166 did not agree.
