Valentino’s birthday at the Camp

Valley as he is fondly called performed several of his classics for the audience who turned his performance into a “request show.”

Backed by Len Cummings and the Wailers, Valley ramajayed with songs like “Life Is a Stage” and “Band From The West.” His friends came out to see him perform as well as to wish him a Happy Birthday.

Sitting in the audience were Brother Superior, Brother Mudada, Explainer, Kenny J and Brother Akil among others.

Performing with Valley were, Cro Cro, Karega Mandela, Johnny King, Soft touch, Brigo and Conqueror.

The Mas Camp audience did not leave until Cro Cro was finished with his performance which ended well after midnight. Even KC of KC Caribbean Hideaway in Brooklyn, New York was present to wish Valley good luck.

The grand old man of calypso accepted all greetings and salutations with a smile.
