Man robbed while watching TV

Police reports stated that Vishnu Rampersad, 46, of Arch Street, was robbed of a gold chain, handband and watch.

According to a report, Rampersad was in the living room at 7.30 pm, when a man ran inside wielding a chopper, announcing a hold-up.

Rampersad told police he gave his jewelry to the bandit who then ran out of the house. PC Ramanan is continuing investigations.
