Clear city gridlock
Unless the Commissioner of Police makes a concerted and real effort to disentangle traffic surrounding the city, Port-of-Spain would remain forever mired in a web of traffic mayhem.
It all boils down to bad parking, bad driving and generally inconsiderate drivers.
Perhaps, if the Commissioner would leave his office incognito and walk the streets of Port-of- Spain he will fully understand the mayhem.
Perhaps, if the Police Commissioner would post some of his hard working police officers to clear the streets of Port-of-Spain and not walk about without doing something we may yet have a beautiful city free of the present gridlock.
Perhaps, if the Police Commissioner would start with Park Street then commuters would recognise that at last he is doing something.
Perhaps, when the Commissioner of Police is fixing Park Street he could remember Morvant Junction where every single day Monday to Sunday, morning, noon and night there is general chaos.
Perhaps, the Commissioner could also fix Maraval just outside the Police Station where everyday problems exist and I have never, ever seen a policeman although the station is almost on the road.
Perhaps, the Commissioner of Police would start to rock the boat before his retirement.
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...
