The People's Hotline

Jagdeo Seepersad had a dispute with his former employer about his last salary. Seepersad, who lives at Kelly Village, Caroni, said he worked as a temporary clerk at a transport company for one month, after which he left to pursue another job.

Seepersad told Hotline that he checked his bank account for his salary that month-end and realised it was not there.

The People’s Hotline spoke to the company’s secretary who said the payroll department was experiencing some difficulties with Seepersad’s salary due to his abrupt departure.

The secretary said as soon as the situation was rectified, Seepersad would receive his payment.

Seepersad telephoned Hotline last week and said, as promised, his salary was deposited into his bank account.
