RBTT spotlights talent in Victoria and Caroni

The Caroni competition has been in existence for 26 years, while the Victoria competition is about 14 years old.

“The core of RBTT’s corporate social involvement has always been the advancement of our nation’s youth through initiatives such as this. Our youth are urged to strive for excellence and to display a disciplined competitive spirit — character-building lessons that can, and should, be applied during school years and long after,” said Geeta Bissoon, Manager — RBTT Point Lisas Branch, when she delivered remarks at the Caroni Singing Competition. “This is why RBTT’s focus has remained the promotion of character-building qualities in our youth…because of what it can bring to society directly and indirectly over the long term.” Chaguanas Government School emerged the victorious choir in the Caroni competition, while St Peter’s Private School won in the same category at the Victoria competition.
