Water ‘fuh so’ across TT
The Churchill Roosevelt Highway was jammed with cars as early as 2 pm, as many sought to leave the capital and head home before major flooding covered Port-of-Spain. However, for once, this did not occur.
In the photo at left, two women advertise what they are selling, by sheltering under umbrellas along the Brian Lara Promenade as they wait to sell the umbrellas.
In the photo below, these pedestrians use plastic material similar to tarpaulin to keep dry as they walk through a heavy downpour along a street in San Fernando.
