Winners of ‘Mastana Bahar’

Second-placed winner Roshni Baboo modelled a pink and black sari while Kerrie Ramoutar who modelled a gold and white sari placed third.

Apart from the queen show Mastana semi-finals continued as usual and classical dancer, Sneha Rao Adidam topped the programme. She did an Odissi dance item choreographed by Mondira Balkaransigh to take the AV Drilling and Workover price of $600.

Vernan Samlal placed second and Neil Samdeo captured third place. Dancers Kavita Rambaran and Khemraj Seepaul placed fourth.

The following contestants were selected to perform at the next semi-finals: Country Boys Tassa Group, Taradath Bridgemohan, Naresh Samaraoo, Satira Bhajnath, Nisha Maharaj, Edward Pitt, Anissa Ali Dance Group, Annie Dookie and Harrinarine Sawh. Mastana will return to the Gulf City Auditorium, La Romaine tomorrow at 5.30 pm. The National Flour Mills pick-a-pan jackpot is now $3,150.
