Plenty money and plenty vagrants

That is not to say that the Government should be giving money away to everyone, but rather it shows what happens when dunces try to manage a windfall.

A lack of policy and policy implementation have so far caused our country to pull strongly in opposite extremes of development and destruction that it is only a matter of time before cracks becomes fractures, a fracture becomes full demolition. There is no consistency or sustained effort in anything.

It’s as if the Government goes to bed at night and wakes up the next morning out of an inspired dream - to build the “Patrick Manning Big Building” or “Put more money in CEPEP and URP inspite of it fuelling crime” or “Spend millions to renovate a resort and then have a big beach party called a Leadership Retreat.”

When unemployment, mental problems, drugs and alcohol and general disconnection from the society are some of the factors that create vagrancy, what policy initiative has been developed to pull our fellow citizens back from vagrancy?

Social Services is not about creating a new modern slavery with URP and CEPEP; social services are about providing safety measures to ensure that poverty is not permanent, crime is not seen as a way out, children have all the tools they need to pursue full, happy lives!
