Cop faces corruption trial

Gosine, of Lothians Road, Princes Town, was attached to the Princes Town Magistrates’ Court as a police prosecutor.

Currently on suspension, Gosine was not committed on May 25 because his attorney Ian Gray wanted to call two witnesses. Yesterday, Gray told Wellington he had decided to reserve the witnesses in the high court trial.

Gosine is accused of going to the San Fernando Police Station, on February 7, 2003, and making a false report to Insp Hillary Brereton concerning a criminal charge.
