Sweet Soca Man

Baron was the headline act for the weekly calypso night concert which drew a full house. Also on the play bill were Sweet Jean, Ninja, Devon Seales and Skatie who replaced Brian London.

Len Cummings and The Wailers provided musical accompaniment for the calypsonians with Sherma Orr and Sexy Suzie as chorus.

Both Seales and Ninja were very good in their performance and the crowd showed their appreciation with sustained applause. Skatie on the other hand was his usual self, only this time he performed several songs from the pen of fellow calypsonians much to the delight of his fans.

When Baron came on stage the entire mood of the camp changed with patrons getting into the singing mode instantly. When Baron got to the end of his session he received a standing ovation and an encore.
