Paedophilia as old as hills

It is as old as the hills and being practised since Adam was a boy, but somehow we as humans feel reluctant to discuss it openly. It is the tendency by adults to paedophilia.

Paedophiles can be anyone in society, rich or poor, educated or not, relatives, friends, neighbours or strangers. They look like normal, everyday you or I, speak and act like everyone else, but are not. Many reasons can contribute to this tendency and I will say what I think.

First there are the ones who had been abused as children and this is considered normal. When they grow up they continue to abuse the younger ones as they had been themselves. Even if they thought that there was something not right when they were being abused, they do it as adults just to get even.

Then the ones who were born with a few screws loose in their brain; they are retarded enough to only look at children in a sexual way, because they themselves haven’t matured as adults to look at adults for that gratification. That can have medical or genetic factors tied up in it.

A third reason is rearing its ugly head and becoming very prevalent these days.

That is the tendency to avoid getting AIDS by sexual contact with older people who might have it, but do not wear a t-shirt or wristband saying so. These deliberate monsters use children for their purity.

There may be a lot more reasons why adults prey on children for this purpose but the fact remains that it is too prevalent. Eternal vigilance is the key to rooting it out and laws have to be instituted to deal with those found guilty.

Children must be encouraged to talk about the day’s happenings with adults.

If they do not trust the adults they interact with, then there must be some means of talking to someone they can trust to keep their confidences and help if necessary
