Principal urges parents

AS 32 boys and girls of the Mason Hall Little Jewels Early Childhood Centre were set out into “the unpredictable world of primary school,” centre co-ordinator, Kathleen Quashie, urged their parents and guardians to ensure that they remained polished and shining brightly.

During the graduataion ceremony at the Mason Hall Secondary School Auditorium, an emotional Quashie admonished parents to pay close attention to the children who would, now more than ever, need their undivided attention and guidance in the “crazy and wicked world out there.”

The brave and eager tots who were dressed sharply in their blue and white graduation ensembles, showed parents and well-wishers just how prepared they were to meet the challenges of the new world when they displayed some of the lessons they had been taught at Little Jewels.

Borrowing form the graduation’s theme — “And Let The Flowers Bloom Again,” the tinymites however, made a fervent call to “Bring Back The Ole Time Days” where children were more disciplined, respectful, caring, had more reverence for God and where adults were more understanding and compassionate towards children and each other.
