Weather conditions improve

A MET official said there was some haze in the atmosphere which created an impression of inclement weather. However, the day was basically fair and no major showers were recorded up to midmorning at the MET headquarters in Piarco. A tropical wave is expected to hit Trinidad and Tobago at some point tomorrow or Saturday but the official stated nothing but the usual showers or thundershowers are expected.
