Minister Narine, please investigate the market

The situation in which the cafeteria operators function could only be termed a struggle to earn an honourable days’ work. I further believe that NAMDEVCO management is oppressing, subjugating and alienating these innocent, rent paying operators.

How could you deny cafeteria operators electricity, when their sole livelihood depends on the sale of hot and cold beverages and hot food?

Any rational and logical person would see that blatant discrimination and hypocrisy is taking place at the Southern Wholesale Market and I would also like the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Jarette Narine as well as the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, the honourable Patrick Manning, to intervene and rectify this situation.
