Poor service at this jewelry shop

When I returned to collect my earrings, to my horror they had cut the good side and made it a great deal shorter to match the other. This most certainly was not what was agreed upon and when I inquired as to why this had been done, the girls became hasty and told me that, that is how it could be fixed and I owe them $40.

I kept on saying this is not what was to be done, this is not what I was told but they couldn’t bother with me and kept on persisting to the point of annoyance that I had to pay $40, the money rather than the service being received was more important.

I wonder what kind of morals these people have or rather the owners of the shop who hire these girls? I also have to wonder if a person’s appearance makes them susceptible to bad service as I am a very small person and I have seen them quicker attend and show a tad more courtesy to others who are either much older or larger.

I had to pay for poor service and to make matters worst the piece of gold that they had cut off was not returned. They destroyed my earrings and also stole a piece of gold from me; I ask you Trinidad and Tobago is that right?
