Maraval man gunned down

A 31-year old man of Upper Celestine Trace, Maraval was shot dead while standing outside his home on Thursday night.

Police reports revealed that around 11.45 pm, Martin Nicholas was at home when he heard a loud explosion .He made a check and saw his son Clifton Nicholas lying in a pool of blood.Officers of the Maraval Police Station were contacted as well as a District Medical Officer. The body was viewed and ordered removed to the Forensic Science Centre. Nicholas is the 213th person to be murdered for the year.
