Checking out ACCA’s local office

Newly-elected president Dennis Yeates, CEO Allen Blewitt and International Corporate Development Director Laurie Gillow also met with head of ACCA-Caribbean, Esther Le Gendre, officials of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT), ACCA tuition providers, private and public sector heads.

Together with joint scheme partners in Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad, ACCA is the largest provider of accounting technicians and accountants practising in some 24 Caribbean territories. Trinidad and Tobago’s Vishnu Maharaj, a practitioner in private practice, sits on the ACCA council and is serving his second three-year term. Angela Lee Loy, president of ICATT and managing director of Aegis Business Solutions is Trinidad’s International Assembly representative.
