Man held with liquid cocaine

According to police reports, OCNU officials placed the man under surveillance and they stopped him as he was about to board a British Airways flight to Heathrow Airport in London.

OCNU officers searched the man and allegedly found packets of liquid cocaine hidden in his luggage. The illicit drugs carry an estimated local street value of $3 million.

The man was subsequently charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and attempting to export a prohibited item, namely cocaine.

He is expected to appear before a Scarborough magistrate this morning to answer the charges.
