A taste of everything

The organisers decorated the entire ground of the Stadium converting it into a village with four culinary areas, a demo kitchen and a VIP area.

There were four entertainment stages, the Bamboo, Tamarind, Nutmeg and the Pimento with non-stop entertainment throughout the evening. Over 20 different entertainers and groups provided music and shows for patrons while folklore characters paraded up and down the village.

The event also proved to be a family outing more than anything else. Scores of families were seen strolling through the village taking in the variety of food and entertainment provided.

Parents were seen pushing babies in strollers throughout the evening enjoying the much needed “quality” time that the experts say they need. Maybe the festival could be seen as an occasion to bring the family together as well as get the children to be a part of their local culture.
