Only 5 runners, ‘Friday Lime’ race cancelled

This race was removed from the day’s card because only five runners were entered for the event.

But handicappers Robin Jaisingh, Michael Singh and Wayne Shockness issued weights for two other handicaps.

Bold As Brass which had a long lay off from racing heads the weights for the Restricted Handicap to be run on the turf track with 59.5 kilos and will tote the same weight even if the race is shifted to the main course.

Next in the weights in this same race is Lit d’Amour and Indian Izzi who were both given 57.5 kilos.

At the bottom of the scale is Straight Ahead with 44 kilos.

Also taking his chances in this 1100 metres sprint is three-year-old All For Java who was allotted 48 kilos.

Meanwhile, Freshman and Karzan were handed topweight of 56.5 kilos in the Conditional Handicap “D” over 1350 metres.

At the foot of the handicap in this event is Oceanic Man with 45.5 kilos.
