The real Final Court

The preamble of our constitution ironically says that our nation “recognises that all men and institutions remain free only when freedom is founded upon moral and spiritual values and the rule of law.” These were the same words that formed the basis of a former president’s decision concerning the selection of a prime minister in an election deadlock. We shall hear these words again echoing in our ears when our matters are called before the Supreme Court of Divine Justice to be determined.

Below all of humanity, regardless of our station in life, there is one common denominator — the recognition of a Supreme Being frequently referred to as God. God has a court already prepared to hear our cases. If we are found guilty, there will only be one sentence or punishment — death.

God’s Court will be a bit different. Of course He will be the final judge.

There will be no defence lawyers to file any injunctions or appeals and the court will not be bound by the operation of judicial precedent.

This court will be at the top of the court hierarchy.

Your testimonies of your lives will be shown as a movie, where you will see the lies, deceits and every manner of wickedness and evil that was done by your hands. You will also see the good things you have done and as you witness them yourselves you would wish you had done more. The scales of Divine Justice will then be raised and they will either be tipped towards life or death.

Do not be fooled into believing that all cases end in the Privy Council. There is another court.

So, for those judicial officers (lawyers included) who use their authority and power to manipulate the justice system, watch out! To those merchants who persist in paying their workers below the minimum wage, take heed. To those politicians who steal the people’s money for their own self aggrandisement, be careful. To those murderers who stalk the land leaving a trail of blood in their paths, watch out.

The rulings of the Divine Court will soon be upon you pouring upon your head undefiled pure justice.

Presently in our country lawlessness is at an all time high and our institutions have receded to shame and disgrace. Our citizens are fighting, robbing, cheating and there is a rat race for material wealth.

The mad quest for vanities is the order of the day propelled by greed. The sad thing is that greed will never become contentment. For those of you walking around with your “get away with it smile” on your faces you will stand before God’s Supreme Court one day. There is no escape from the real final court. It is as sure as the rising sun.
