Arima awards

Under the theme “Partnering with the Community” the reception at the Town Hall, Sorzano Street, on Thursday honoured recipients from several fields including culture, music, community services, social services, business, education, public and security services.

Among the those attending the function were Minister of Public Utilities Pennelope Beckles, Arima Mayor Adrian Cabralis, Deputy Mayor Ricardo Bharath Hernandez and Monsignor Christian Pereira. The audience was entertained by Ruanne Cabralis, Melissa Rampersad, the James Family, Wayne Harris and Sipabatt Steel Orchestra.
