VENEZUELANS SENT HOME

The vessels were stopped while sailing through the Bocas, off the small islands, at Chaguaramas.

The eleven occupants on board the vessels were interviewed by Immigration Division and Custom officers. The men were then escorted out of Trinidad and Tobago waters.

The pirogues were stopped on Sunday after they looked suspicious to Coastguard officers and their intentions were questioned. No drugs or firearms were found aboard the vessels.
