Blackpool win netball opener

Blackpool claimed the top prize in the opening March Past competition while Horizon had the best queen on show.

Harlem, Magic Touch and Horizon were second, third and fourth respectively in the march past while Blackpool’s queen secured the the runners-up position. Blueberries were third in the queen competition followed by Cavaliers who were fourth.

Horizon also warmed-up for what is expected to be a tough season by winning an exhibition knock-out tournament.

They defeated Blackpool 5-2 in the final.
