Baby, mom still in hospital

Cops probing whether Nicholas’ injury was the result of an assault said he remained in critical condition at the San Fernando General Hospital. It is alleged that Nicholas was injured when he was thrown into the air by a 23-year-old man.

Baby Nicholas’ mother Rita, 20, also remained warded at San Fernando General Hospital recovering from several injuries she allegedly suffered at the hands of the man.

A 23-year-old man who was detained on Thursday, remained in police custody yesterday and is assisting officers in their investigations.
