Next Generation win 6-0 in Fyzo

Russell Pope netted in the 50th, Solomon Beaumont in the 54th, Ian Williams added his in the 57tyh, Jerrod Johnson in the 66th and Easton charles blasted in a penalty in the 69th minute.

League leaders Avocat United whipped Oropouche All Blacks 5-1 with Akeem John getting a double in the 5th and 36th minutes, while Jamal Clarence in the 10th, Jason Joseph 30th and Paul Chester 65th completed the scoring. Jason Pierre got a consolation goal for All Blacks in the 70th minute.

The victory put Avocat two points ahead of New Commers.

New Commers were held to a 0-0 draw by Standard Sports Club who were gaining their first point in this year’s series.

Tigers held Juventus to a 2-2 draw at the Colley Street ground after the scores were knotted up 1-1 at the half-time break.

Akiba Peters gave Tigers the lead as early as the 2nd minute only for veteran ex-national striker Kenrick Fleary to grab the equaliser in the 18th.

Ryan Young restored Tigers lead in the 46th minute, but Fleary completed his double in the 57th minute to earn his team a point.

In Under-16 action, Pepper Village shut out Petrotrin Forest/Fyzabad 3-0 on goals by Akiel Pope in the 3rd minute, Nicholas Lake in the 40th and Leon Brown in the 55th.

New Commers youngsters beat New City 3-1 with Jerome Primus in the 23rd and 49th minutes and Elliot Briggs 51st scoring. Anjel Williams got the only goal for New City.

And in another game at the weekend, New Commers edged Princes Town United 1-0 with Adiel Agard scoring the only goal of the match in the 3rd minute.
