Keilon follows in dad Iwer’s footsteps
Keilon who will perform under the stage name Keil, is set to release his first single, featuring Atlantic Records artist Kevin Lyttle, later this week.
The groovy soca, “Side by Side”, is written by the young artist who has always been instrumental in assisting his father with his songs.
Keilon is no stranger to the limelight having first performed with his father in the Spektakula Children’s show at the early age of five.
Of course the talent does not stop there as his younger brother Khadeem, nine, was responsible for Iwer’s 2003 hit “Turn Around.”
Keilon who intends to attend university to study business administration is currently attending high school in the US where he plays basketball.
The young man who lived in both the US and TT, promises to use what he has learned in both countries to take Soca music to another level internationally.
“Side by Side” will be released on ‘Synergy TV.’
