State closes case in drug trafficking trial

Harry Seepersad Ramlogan was before Justice Anthony Carmona at the Port-of-Spain Criminal Court charged with possession of 18 kilos of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

The 42-year-old man of O’Brien Road, Biche, was allegedly held with the illegal narcotic in a track leading to the Biche forest by three police officers on August 8, 2003.

State attorneys Aden Stroude and Jennifer Martin are prosecuting while attorney Michelle Solomon represents Ramlogan.
