Lessons in sport at Tourism Park

In an exclusive concept called The Locker Room, the ministry educated thousands of young people who passed through the venue about the contribution that sport has made to Trinidad and Tobago’s history and tourist appeal.

The Locker Room featured authentic jerseys from Soca Warriors and cricket star Brian Lara, as well as running video of great moments in our sporting history.

Some of this country’s top athletes also visited the booth for photos and autograph sessions with Tourism Park visitors.

The Locker Room also featured a massage therapist who performed massages throughout the day.

Visitors to The Locker Room also received information about ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in the Caribbean in March next year.

This event is expected to bring thousands of tourists to the region, including Trinidad and Tobago. Posters, ticket brochures and other items were distributed by volunteers of the Local Organising Committee.
