Is it worth the while?

Questions:

- Why are we working so hard and using our depleting natural resources to create employment for Chinese nationals, when China is more than capable of such?

- Why are residents of La Brea marching to support a smelter which would bring benefits to Chinese nationals and only pollution for them?

- Will the country really gain less profit, if we just sell the natural gas these smelters will use as LNG? How much less?

I eagerly await a response, especially from La Brea.
