How would history judge Panday?

Was Mr Panday not the one who brought Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj into politics? Was he not also the one who brought him back into the UNC recently? Apart from my deepening disbelief that Panday was really a Prime Minister of our country, I wonder if he has ever given consideration to how history would judge his character, or lack thereof.
