Young golfers get lessons

ASPIRING young golfers between the ages of five and 18 will have the opportunity to learn the rudiments of the sport at the Chaguaramas Golf Course during the July-August school vacation. The Chaguaramas Golf Club, in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Professional Golf Association (T&TPGA), will hold their annual summer golf camp from July 7-18, July 21-31 and August 4-15. From teeing off to putting, the golfers will have a chance to improve their knowledge on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.30 am — 11.30 am. Cost of participating in any two-week session is $350 per child with golfing equipment provided while a grand tournament, with prizes for every competitor, will conclude each of the fortnightly programmes.
